Safety Technician:
Very successful underground construction company has an opening for a Safety Technician headquartered in the San Jose area. This position offers excellent opportunity for growth with great benefits including a vehicle, health insurance and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years experience, 2-year degree (4 year preferred with emphasis in construction or safety), 30-hour OSHA construction industry certificate, working knowledge of regulations. Will conduct site inspections, handle work-related injuries, develop monthly safety meeting topics, develop and present safety training among other duties. Purchasing Manager:
Manufacturing company has an immediate opening for a Purchasing Manager their Hanford, CA Location.
Responsibilities include purchasing all materials for production in addition to MRO supplies; manage field inventory programs; schedule production and inventory; negotiate contracts. The successful individual will have strong analytical skills and decision-making ability; ability to manage complex transactions; perform financial analysis and budgeting; develop supplier arrangements; develop and manage budgets; superior interpersonal skills; contract negotiation experience; and excellent written/oral communication skills. Minimum education high school with at least 2 years purchasing experience; BA degree preferred; or a combination of education and purchasing equaling 6 years experience; Previous exp. in manufacturing environment working with sheet metal, tubing, air conditioning and parts, hydraulic pumps and motors required; APICS Certification is a strong plus; Must have strong Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access).
